THE HUNT 2008

We were very excited Brandon did not have to hunt alone this year. His cousin flew in to visit right on time and they had a blast. Next year we will have all the little ones to join in on the fun and it will get better and better every year. Here they are at Grandma's house in the front yard because the backyard is like the rain forest and has plants that have thorns.

The Magic Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny came to our front door while Brandon went to do his morning potty thing.
I was really cute because he didn't want to go potty this morning and I had him look on the front porch and there was nothing. I told him, "you see the Easter Bunny knows your not listening to mommy.'' So he went, and while we were in the bathroom I signaled daddy to put the basket on the porch. And just like MAGIC the bunny was proud of Brandon and the basket magically appeared. WOW

A visit to the Houston SPCA

Those people should be paying me for giving their animals homes. My family loves to make fun of me because I've had some animals in the past that didn't work out and some that did but I was told by my old fashioned doctor to get rid of them since I had recently gotten pregnant. I know now if I ever get pregnant again that I just need to stay away from the litter box and have my husband clean it out. So with all the introductions my husband rarely allows me to visit the SPCA because I am a huge animal sucker, and can't help but bring one home. This time we visited with a few different cats with the whole family, we all fell in love with one. We made it all the way home without an animal. Keith took one look at me and said "Go back and get him." So I drove back and got to take him home that day because he is an older cat and is already neutered and I must say very laid back. Here he is.... Gilbert the cat.

My class

These are the little ones I take care of and the irreplaceable friends I works with everyday. The little girl I'm holding is the one who had me pull a muscle in my back not to long ago, you can see why, she's a chunky monkey alright. : )

Trip to the Housto ZOO

We had a great time at the Houston Zoo today, the weather was perfect and Brandon was well behaved. Mommy and Daddy rode the carousel with Brandon and we got to pet animals in the Children's area. Daddy and Brandon have to visit the orangutan every time, he is their favorite animal there. We didn't get to ride the train this time they have it closed down for remodeling but Brandon was tired and ready to go home anyway.

Act Natural Photos

Just being silly. Brandon has always been a Ham for the camera so there are very few pictures with him acting natural. This is his natural Crazy Boy.

Thanksgiving with his cousins

Brandon and his cousin Mia and Amy (not in the pic) at Thanksgiving. They really enjoy each others company I just wished they lived closer so they could play more often.

Brandon turns 3

Brandon turned 3 this past Sept and we had a blast at the bouncy place around the corner. Daddy even got in on some of the fun. Mommy made his cake this year and frogs were the theme...get it...jumping. Anyway it was a big hit and I think we will go back there next year.

Million Dollar Photos

Here are pictures of Brandon in 2006. These were the most expensive pictures ever I think I paid about $300 dollars that day and left Studio One feeling very violated. But at least I got some really cute pictures.

The cutest Pirate

This year Brandon wanted to be a gorilla pirate but I told him he had to choose one because I didn't think we could pull that off. he chose the pirate and it was perfect. He didn't even want me to go with him to the door to ring the door bells this year. It was very sad as I stood back from him 5 ft and watched him trick or treat like a big boy. : (

Pumpkin Patch Traditions

Every year we go to the same pumpkin patch to choose a pumpkin, it has become a tradition. The first year we move here Brandon was had just turned one when we brought him Oct 05. He was walking a bit then and wanted to walk around the pumpkins but we hadn't brought him shoes so we let him walk around in the straw with socks on. It made me feel like and unprepared parent so from now on I pack and extra of everything and leave it in the car just in case, you never know. Brandon tries to find the perfect stool and we try to find one big enough with a flat side for carving faces. This year I believe he ran ten miles around and around the pumpkins. When we got home he slept for 4 hours.

Getting started

So we moved here in 2005 and love the area. Brandon is attending a Primrose School around the corner and he he growing so much everyday. I, about 4 months later got a job at his school to keep a closer eye on him but also am enjoying my new friends there. Everyday is a new adventure in our house. Of course you're never gonna know what a 3 year old is going to say. Even though we don't have 8 kids I like to compare our marriage to the show "Jon & Kate plus 8" show that comes on TLC. You should watch it sometime you get what I mean. Though she can be a little mean to her husband and him sarcastically funny they do care about each other.Through these post I will back track so you learn more about what we've been through and maybe a insight about who we are. Enjoy!
